A burnished brown wire tree with reindeer moss foliage and wrapped on to Mopani driftwood. Accessorised with handmade bracket fungus and toadoadstools, aswell as dried moss, shells and a beautiful wulfenite with minetite crystal.
This sculpture has a truly ancient feel, inspired and named after Tolkien's Huorns, a living race of ancient, slow- moving trees cared for by the Ents and sacred to the Elves. The Hurons stood as dark, trees in the deepest forests, gnarled, brooding and unmoving, yet watchful.
